Welding wire Koronet SG3 made of silicon-manganese steel coated with copper for the MAG method, designed for welding unalloyed and low-carbon steels.
It allows the use of both high currents for the spray arc and low currents for short-circuit metal transfer.
It has a higher content of silicon and manganese, which guarantees greater strength of the weld compared to SG2 type wire.
Koronet Premium SG3 solid copper welding wire is available in a barrel weighing 250 kg. Three diameters of 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm are available. It is widely used in engineering, automotive, petrochemical, boiler and ship construction, and container construction.
Due to its high quality and lack of joints , it is especially recommended for use with welding robots.
