SG3 (G4Si1) Copper Welding Wire Koronet

Copper silicon-manganese steel wire designed for MIG/MAG welding of unalloyed and low-carbon steels in gas shielding.

It is distinguished by an increased content of manganese and silicon, which directly translates into better wettability, deeper melting and higher resistance of the weld to cracking. Recommended for welding structural components with high strength requirements.

Welding with copper wire otherwise known as copper-covered wire is better electrical conductivity (which helps in stable current transmission), heat dissipation is improved, the wire burns uniformly, which affects the better weld quality.
