Blind machine tap HSSE-PM SUPREME 900X – DIN 371 C – Koronet

The Koronet SUPREME 900X machine tap is a premium tool designed for precision internal threading in demanding metal materials. Made of powdered high-speed steel HSSE-PM and equipped with an advanced AlCrN coating, it offers significantly higher tool life and process stability than standard taps coated with traditional layers such as TiN or TiCN.

• HSSE-PM steel (powder metallurgy)
A material with a homogeneous, fine-grained structure, providing very high resistance to torsional loads and minimizing the risk of edge chipping when threading materials that are more difficult to process.

• Premium coating – SUPREME 900X
The advanced AlCrN-based coating is characterized by:
– very high hardness and abrasion resistance,
– increased thermal stability,
– minimizing chip adhesion,
– longer tool life compared to TiN coatings.
This allows you to work with higher cutting parameters and in more difficult steel grades.

• Spiral geometry – for blind holes
The high helix angle ensures efficient chip outward guidance, which increases process safety in blind holes and reduces the risk of chip jamming.

• DIN 371 standard – reinforced shaft
Tap with reinforced shank design, used in tools made of higher grade materials. It provides stable handling and increases resistance to torsional loads.

• Version C – 2-3 chamfer turns
The optimal solution for threading blind holes, guaranteeing easy tool insertion and precise thread geometry.

The SUPREME 900X tap is designed for processing:
• structural and low-alloy steels,
• alloy steels with increased strength,
• stainless steels (A2, A4),
• heat-treated steels,
• materials prone to growth on the edge.
