It is ideal for cutting band widths of 20 – 27 mm.
The strain gauge is designed for use with band cutters of the BS170G, BS260G, G5025, G5027 types as well as with cutters from other manufacturers:
The use of a strain gauge reduces the tendency of the band saw to break, as it alerts when the voltage is too high at a time when it is not too late. A precise rotating gauge allows direct voltage reading in [psi].
The meter is mounted on the screw behind the tape tension knob.
