Welding Wire For Stainless Steel 308 LSi Koronet MIG MAG

Solid wire grade 19 9 LSi / ER 308LSi for MAG welding of stainless steels grade 304 and 304L. The melt exhibits high resistance to intergranular corrosion in contact with liquids up to 300°C.

The wire is used in a wide range of applications for welding pipes, pipelines, plates, and in the manufacture of tanks and other stainless steel structures.

Argon-based mixtures should be used as a shielding gas: Ar+2%O2 or Ar+0.5-5% CO2. Very low carbon content in the alloy reduces the possibility of intergranular corrosion, thus eliminating the need to introduce alloying additives to stabilize the metal structure. The increased Si silicon content improves the fluidity of the liquid weld pool and wettability, thus ensuring an even surface of the weld face and high smoothness of the stitches with regular and gentle shapes.
