The welding wire is made of copper-coated silicon-manganese steel for the MIG/MAG method, designed for welding low-carbon structural, boiler, ship and fine-grained carbon-manganese steels in gas shielding.
SG2 G3Si1 wire is considered the most versatile welding wire grade.
It has good arc forming ability and low risk of weld porosity.
Copper wire welding otherwise known as copper-coated wire is better electrical conductivity (which helps in stable current transmission), heat dissipation is improved, the wire burns uniformly, which affects the better weld quality.
It is effective in welding in a variety of conditions and positions.
Koronet Premium welding wire is only available in precision winding in 5 kg (D200) and 15 kg (K300) spools. Three diameters of 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm are available.
