Röntgen Carbide Band Saw HM-Titan MU

HM – an abbreviation for Hartmetall (the German term for carbide). It means that the saw teeth have carbide tips.

Titan – the name of the Röntgen series (branding), associated with exceptional durability and use for the most difficult materials.

MU – an abbreviation for Multi-Chip Universal. Multi-Chip → refers to a special tooth geometry that divides the chip into smaller pieces (even load, quieter operation, less wear).

Product Description

The HM-Titan MU is a professional carbide-toothed band saw designed for demanding cutting of a variety of steels – from structural and tool steels to stainless steels to high-speed steels (HSS). The use of high-quality carbide tips in combination with multi-chip geometry ensures stable and quiet operation, effective chip evacuation and significantly extended tool life.

Key features

  • High-performance carbide tipped.

  • Multi-chip geometry – better chip forming and removal, vibration and noise reduction.

  • Universal use for many types of steel, including stainless and high-speed steel.

  • Perfect balance between cutting speed and blade durability.

  • Steel base strip with high fatigue resistance – guarantees stable operation even under heavy loads.

Application

  • Cutting of bars, profiles, sections and steel plates.

  • Machining of materials with a strength of up to approx. 1600 N/mm².

  • Ideal for series production and industrial applications where reliability and quality of the cutting surface are important.

Available tooth sizes and pitches (TPI)

  • Belt widths: from 27 × 0.9 mm to 80 × 1.6 mm.

  • Typical tooth configurations: 0.85/1.15 | 1.1/1.6 | 1.5/2 | 1.8/2.2 – depending on the cross-section of the material to be cut.

Benefits for the user

  • Increased tool life compared to standard bimetal saws.

  • Stable operating parameters and high cutting quality.

  • A wide range of materials can be processed with a single tool.
