TEREBOR is a specialized lubricating and cooling oil of the Molydal brand, designed for demanding machining processes. The product has been developed to work in harsh environments where standard coolants do not provide sufficient tool protection and process stability.
The Extreme Pressure (EP) additive formula enables effective lubrication under high pressure and temperature conditions, resulting in longer tool life and improved machining quality.

Yes. This is one of the main uses of this product. Thanks to the content of lubricating additives for high-pressure work, Terebor oil is well suited for processing stainless steel, acid-resistant steel and other difficult-to-machine materials.
The original formula ensures repeatable performance including a viscosity of approx. 22 mm²/s (40°C). Stable lubricating properties reduce tool wear, reduce the risk of overheating and improve thread quality.
The product is intended for professional use. During work, basic protective equipment should be used: protective gloves, prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided and adequate ventilation of the workplace should be ensured. For details, see the safety data sheet.
The product should be stored in a tightly closed, original packaging, in a dry place, at a temperature between 0°C and 25°C.
Yes. The oil can be used for both threading and drilling. It improves lubrication in the cutting zone, reduces the risk of seizure and promotes chip evacuation, which is especially important for deep holes.
Threading oil such as Terebor is applied pointwise and provides high lubricity in harsh environments. Unlike coolants, it is not diluted with water and works better under heavy loads.
